Walks & Pools

Being a "City of Parks," what would you expect .......... of course, lots of trails and for the little ones wading pools. Not only that but Surrey boasts two very good "wave" pools and are well frequented by the "local's" so that should tell you something!

If it's natural beaches you want ........ there are quite a few, from White Rock and Crescent Beach to Stanley Park in Vancouver, not to mention Ambleside Park over the "fabulous" Lions Gate Bridge and near West Vancouver.

For those wanting to witness the wonder of nature ........ why not visit the Tynehead fish hatchery where you can see newly born fish in their natural habitat and even follow them upstream on one of the many secluded wooded paths. So be sure to schedule some time for a leisurely walk through the many gardens and trails that abound in the area.
