Bear Creek Park

Close-by and of particular interest is Bear Creek Park, for not only is it a wonderful place just to walk through, it is home to the Surrey Arts Centre (designated as one of Canada's cultural capitals for 2008.) Professional music, theater and dance performances entertain and inspire you, complimented by local national & international artists showing their work.

This land reserve is diverse with play areas for toddlers to teenagers, many paths and even an official track and field oval. Always a yearly attraction is the miniature train, when on special occasions it's route is decorated in the theme of the event.

A great place for a family picnic, whereby sports activities can be enjoyed on the many acres of freshly mowed grass.
